Miso Making Class with Yoko

Discover the art of miso making in this hands-on class led by Yoko (Hakko). Explore what miso is, how it’s crafted, and the importance of koji—the mold-grown rice at the heart of miso’s rich flavor. Participants will taste three kinds of miso (rice koji, barley koji, and soybean), create their own 500g batch of rice koji miso to age at home, pick up pro tips for everyday miso cooking, and take home decorated miso balls.
