Whisking Workshop & Tea Ceremony

Experience an afternoon dedicated to Japanese tea culture at AMOCA with scholars Dr. Rebecca Corbett and Dr. Michelle Liu Carriger. This workshop will give participants a hands-on introduction to chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony), where attendees will prepare their own bowl of matcha and enjoy a traditional Japanese sweet. The event takes place alongside the exhibition "Tōgei: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics." Tickets include admission to the museum, and pre-registration is required.
