WSET Level 2 Award in Sake Online (Day 1 of 2)

The WSET Level 2 Award in Sake is an in-depth online course designed for both sake professionals and enthusiasts. Spanning two days, it focuses on the key styles of sake, their ingredients, and the production process. Students will learn to assess sake quality using the WSET Systematic Approach, gain the ability to interpret labeling terms, and receive guidance on sake selection and service. The course includes a textbook, 10-15 tasting samples, and concludes with a remote-invigilation exam (online) on November 16. Sake samples can be picked up at Los Angeles Mutual Trading or shipped. Instructors Sara Guterbock and Atsuko Glick, both highly qualified sake educators, will guide the course. Participants must be 21+ and have two devices with cameras for the exam. Minimum of 5 students required for the class to proceed. If the minimum isn’t met, a full refund is issued. Registration closes October 2 (print textbook) or October 19 (digital).
