DESCRIPTION:Join a unique two-day guided experience by Kamotsuru Sake Brewing in Higashihiroshima this June. The “Sake Brewery Experience Tour ‘Water'” invites you to discover the foundational role of water in Japanese sake brewing. This immersive spring course features a trek to the brewery’s water source and hands-on water activity\, rice planting\, aroma workshop at the National Research Institute of Brewing\, cooking and tasting local specialty ‘Bishu Nabe’ with a master brewer\, and a guided walk along Sakagura Street visiting seven historic breweries with sake tastings. Participants will also receive a bottle of sake with a custom label delivered later. Costs start at ¥39\,000 without accommodation\, or upgrade to hotel or temple lodging.
