Shinsei Sake Brewery Open Day

Experience the annual Shinsei Sake Brewery Open Day, hosted by Yamamoto Honke in Kyoto! Sample a selection of exclusive, limited-edition and seasonal sake—only available at this event. Enjoy captivating taiko drumming performances at 12:00 and 14:30. Test your luck in the special sake ring toss for a chance to win sake and prizes (participation costs 500 yen). Browse a rich array of food and craft booths, offering gourmet treats and goods that pair perfectly with sake. Note that attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transit, as parking is not provided. The festival is free to enter, but some activities require payment.
