The OSAKA SAKE SQUARE 2026 brings together sake breweries from across Kansai to Osaka's Namba Carnival Mall for a unique celebration of sake and music. Unlike typical sake tasting events, this vibrant festival welcomes everyone from enthusiasts to newcomers, offering a lively atmosphere perfect for exploring the rich world of Japanese sake. Expect participation from breweries representing Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama, providing guests with a wide array of tastings. Admission is free, but you'll need to purchase a starter set for sake sampling. Special music acts and live DJ performances will boost the festive energy. The event is hosted by the Osaka Brewers Association with support from FM COCOLO, FM802, and ZIP-FM, and will be held rain or shine unless extreme weather occurs. Families are welcome, but be aware that sake tasting is only for attendees aged 20 and over. The starter set (advance tickets from 3,200 yen) includes sake coins, an original sake cup, and more.
