Certified Sake Adviser Online

Take your sake education to the next level and get certified as a Sake Adviser in this comprehensive online course, conducted entirely in Japanese. Open to hospitality industry professionals and sake enthusiasts, the course covers sake history, ingredients, brewing processes, classification, and tasting techniques. Participants will taste and examine over a dozen sake varieties, participate in interactive lectures, and engage in small group discussions. No prerequisites required, but all participants must be 21 or older. Registration closes March 30, 2026 or when capacity is reached. The final examination will be held online on April 20, 2026. Study support is provided, and successful candidates become eligible for advanced certification. The course is led by renowned instructor Atsuko Glick.
