Cha-An Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience

Experience the art of Japanese tea at Cha-An’s traditional tea ceremony in their authentic chashitsu, located on the second floor. Guests will enjoy a bowl of freshly prepared matcha (usucha) paired with homemade wagashi, traditional Japanese confections. The session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, with a strict dress code for tatami seating—white socks and loose pants or skirts required. Kimonos are welcome! For the best tasting experience, please avoid fragrances and remove accessories. Reservations are non-refundable within two weeks of the event. A minimum of three and maximum of four guests per session is required; children ages seven and up can join. The venue has stair-only access. Gratuity for staff is appreciated.
