Japanese Women in Fermentation

Celebrate Japanese women in fermentation at this unique tasting event in San Francisco! Enjoy three curated samples each of sake, wine, and beer crafted by Japanese women producers from Northern California, including Noriko Kamei (Sequoia Sake), Sonoe Hirabayashi (Six Cloves Wines), and Naoko Haruyama (Barebottle Brewing). Japanese otsumami (small bites) will be provided by Mariko Grady of Aedan Fermented Foods. The event also features live Taiko drum performances by Japanese women performers, a panel discussion with the producers, and an audience Q&A. This is the first event in Northern California to spotlight Japanese women across sake, wine, and beer.
